The Sky Fusion platform

A distributed, behind-the-meter inference layer built on residential energy infrastructure.

Sky Fusion combines rooftop solar, battery storage, secure liquid-cooled GPU nodes, heat recovery, and SkyFusion OS orchestration into a unified platform. The result is a residential inference network that appears to customers as a single, reliable API endpoint while operating behind the meter in participating homes.

Architecture: energy + compute + orchestration

The Sky Fusion platform is built on three tightly integrated layers:

Energy layer

Residential solar and battery systems provide clean power and backup capacity, integrated behind the meter at each participating home.

Compute layer

Secure, enterprise-grade GPU nodes are installed in qualifying homes, using liquid cooling and tamper-evident enclosures.

Orchestration layer

SkyFusion OS aggregates these nodes into a unified inference cluster with secure routing, workload management, and observability.

This architecture is designed to complement centralized data centers by adding a geographically distributed, community-aligned capacity layer.

SkyFusion OS

SkyFusion OS aggregates residential compute nodes into a unified, secure inference cluster that appears to customers as a single reliable API endpoint.

Core capabilities include workload orchestration and routing, node authentication and health monitoring, telemetry, logging, observability, automated failover, billing, settlement, SLA tracking, maintenance coordination, and fleet monitoring.

Security Layer

The platform is being designed around secure workload isolation, encrypted transport, hardware-level confidential computing where supported, memory encryption, secure boot, hardware attestation, tamper-evident enclosures, remote disablement, and centralized policy control.

Thermal integration and energy stack

Each Sky Fusion installation is designed to integrate with the home’s energy and thermal systems where technically feasible.

Solar and storage

Rooftop solar and battery storage help power the compute node and provide backup capability.

Liquid cooling

GPUs are cooled via a liquid loop that captures thermal output efficiently.

Heat recovery

Where technically feasible, the liquid-cooling loop transfers recovered heat into the home’s domestic hot-water system, turning a cooling burden into a potential household benefit.

By operating behind the meter, Sky Fusion reduces dependence on new grid interconnections and large-scale permitting while aligning incentives with participating households.

Designed for AI infrastructure partners

Sky Fusion is built for AI labs, hyperscalers, and enterprise compute buyers who need resilient, flexible inference capacity.

The platform is intended to provide contracted wholesale inference capacity that integrates into existing API, enterprise, and batch channels; complement centralized data centers with a geographically distributed footprint; support project-finance structures backed by long-term compute contracts; and align incentives with participating households and local communities.
